Vivonics has developed technology that is able to measure and monitor key vitals signs in both patients and healthy individuals in a contactless fashion.
Contactless Monitoring (CM)
Potential uses include monitoring vital signs in:
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU)
Burned Patients, ICU
Flu, Influenza and Other Contagious Diseases That Require Remote Monitoring
Airport security (Virus Spread Prevention)
Human Performance monitoring : Indoor training
Mind body interventions (MBI) : bio-feedback device
Research tool (used by research community to collect data in a unobtrusive manner)
CM technology is a combination of multiple disciplines including optics, bio-image and bio-signal processing. These disciplines translate into a platform that collects and continuously monitors vital signs such as Heart Rate (HR), Respiration Rate (RR), and Heart Rate Variability (HRV) through the measure of non-contact Photoplethysmography (PPG) signals.
This technology has particular advantages for patients with fragile skin (neonatal, geriatric and burned patients) or in environments where direct contact is risky or obtrusive.
